Router Trimming

DUO Robotic Solutions designs and builds robotic router trimming systems that produce high quality parts much more effectively than a traditional CNC.

 

Our enclosed turnkey systems are equipped with high speed robots, high speed spindles and rotating tables for maximum efficiency. Our systems are engineered with RIA standards which are essential for operator safety.

 

A typical robotic router system will surpass the efficiency of a traditional CNC with up to 40% shorter cycle time. A 6-axis robot has faster accelerations, speedy air moves and high cutting speed.

 

Robotic routing is a fast and efficient material separation process. The router produces a very clean edge in plastics and composites; it can be programmed to cut through the part, or just trim the material to a predetermined depth (blind holes and pockets). A vacuum system can be used to collect the cut-outs and chips.
